Tue, 07/03/2012 - 07:03 -- Sue Dodge

Each summer, Franklin & Marshall College hosts a week-long professional development seminar in bioinformatics that provides high school teachers with cutting-edge content and hands-on inquiry-based activities. This year's seminar runs from July 9-13 and is designed for high school biology teachers who wish to expand their knowledge of bioinformatics.  The seminar will feature wet lab and computer lab activities involving molecular biology, genetics, medical problem solving, and working with public databases, as well as classroom-ready teaching materials.
